Join the University of Antwerp this summer for an intensive week on the future of urban logistics. We are pleased to offer five travel and participation grants for selected candidates.

From June 28 to July 3, 2026, the University of Antwerp will host the Summer School on Urban Logistics. This comprehensive program is designed for researchers and professionals looking to gain a deep understanding of the latest developments shaping the field.

A full-week immersive program

Participants will benefit from a high-level academic and practical schedule, including:

• Expert Lectures: Insights from leading international scholars.Policy Debates: Discussions on the regulatory and environmental challenges of city logistics.

VREF Sponsorship: Five Grants Available

As part of our commitment to supporting international research and capacity building, VREF is sponsoring five participants with a full grant. The grant covers:

• Travel expenses
• Accommodation
• Registration fees

How to Apply

To be considered for a VREF grant, candidates must follow these steps:

• Register: Apply through the University of Antwerp online portal.
• Submit Motivation: Send a motivation letter directly to joris.beckers@uantwerpen.be.

Application Deadline: February 20 at noon CEST.

Important Dates

• Early March: Notification of selected grantees.
• March 12: Deadline for grantees to complete registration (including payment and proof of visa application) to secure the grant.
