Research Forum: Walking practices among the young and the old

Image

Dear Colleagues in the VREF Community, Welcome to join our next Research Forum on Walking as a Mode of Transport!

Children and elderly are arguably two of the groups most dependent on walking for their daily activities, and also those most affected by e.g. safety and security aspects of their surroundings. This Research Forum includes presentations and discussions of three projects dealing with needs, travel behaviour, and challenges related to movement on foot among the young and the old, in varying geographies and through different methods.
