Dear Colleagues in the VREF Next Generation Scholars community,
We are happy to share this invitation and hope to see you at Share Your Science Forum – Special Theme: South Asia for NextGen scholars across the three programs: ISM, MAC and Walking.

About the Share Your Science Forum

Mobility in South Asian cities is shaped by more than the availability and connectivity of transport networks. Questions of access, inclusion, and power are important to examine who is able to move, whose mobility needs are recognised, and whose forms of mobility remain overlooked or excluded by conventional planning approaches. While walking, public transport, and informal mobility systems are essential to everyday urban life, access to them is shaped by socioeconomic inequalities, gender, safety, spatial conditions, institutional practices, and transport policies. Rethinking mobility through these intersecting dimensions is essential for creating more inclusive and equitable South Asian cities.
